We’re thrilled to announce Lev AC Rosen’s All Her Potential, forthcoming Winter 2026 from Erewhon Books.

A secluded country estate. A famous scientist, murdered. Five suspects, each capable of having done it. Ada’s mother calls them monsters. Her father’s assistant calls them “the girls.” Ada tries not to call them anything at all—tries not to even think about them. But now with her father murdered by one of them, she has to travel to his remote laboratory and home to investigate which of them murdered him and make sure their secret—her secret—doesn’t get out. A speculative twist on a classic set-up, All Her Potential asks what made us, and what could have made us… different.

From author Lev AC Rosen:

I’m so excited to be returning to SFF and to once more blend it with some classic genre mystery. Erewhon, being part of the amazing mystery publisher Kensington, makes for a perfect home for this bit of genre cross-pollination, and I’m so excited to be working with Diana, who I met when my first book came out, over a decade ago, and had been a close friend since, but who I’ve never worked with! She’s just so brilliant and insightful, I can’t wait to learn from her. And fun fact: that first book was bought by the founder of Erewhon—so in many ways, this feels like a reunion with old friends, and I’m just so happy to be working with everyone. I had so much fun conceiving of this book and writing it, and I’m so excited for you all to see this classic mystery set-up in a way you haven’t seen it before.

From Editorial Director Diana Pho:

They say publishing is a small world, and one of the perks is that you get to see people grow from the very kernel of their career, and then flourish and bloom in fantastic ways. Such has been my experience with Lev: he’s smart, he’s witty, he has the knack for conceptualizing entertaining and fun stories that examine the world in memorable ways. We’ve walked parallel paths during our respective journeys in the book world, and finally, our paths have intersected! I’m excited to bring Lev back into sci-fi in the best way possible! It’s a real honor, and I look forward to introducing Ada and “the girls” for his fans, old and new.

Lev Rosen writes books for people of all ages, including the Evander Mills series, which began with the Macavity Award winning Lavender House (Anthony finalist, Lambda finalist, Best Book of the Year from Buzzfeed, Library Journal, Amazon, Bookpage, and others) and continued with The Bell in the Fog, (Publisher’s Weekly Editor’s Choice, Best Book of the year from Amazon, CrimeReads and Autostraddle). His most recent YA novels are Emmett (Best Book of the year from Kirkus and Amazon), Lion’s Legacy (Best Book of the year from Booklist and the New York Public Library) and Camp (Best Book of the year from Forbes, Elle, and The Today Show and others).
